Public Transportation

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) rail service at DFW is a great way to visit many Dallas sights and landmarks – all without a car and for a great price.

The first DART train arrives at 3 AM and departs at 4 AM for travelers with early flights. You can purchase your pass at DFW Airport Station kiosks or by mobile at the GoPass app. The fares are as follows:

The station is at Terminal A, lower level A10.

TEXRail is another great way to get to downtown Fort Worth, and it departs from Terminal B, lower level B47. The first train arrives at 4:30 AM and the last train leaves the airport at 1 AM.

You can buy passes at the Airport Station kiosks or on Trinity Metro's website. The fares for TEXRail are as follows:

  • $2.50 - two-hour pass
  • $5.00 - day pass

Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is a light rail service with additional service from Dallas to Fort Worth and stops in between so you can see even more of the Metroplex. Passes can be purchased at CentrePorte Station kiosks or via the GoPass app. The fare is $2.50 for a two-hour pass.

To find TRE Station, follow signs to the designated Remote South Parking bus pick-up zones on the lower level of all terminals. At the parking lot, connect to buses serving the TRE CentrePort station. Buses depart every 30 minutes, and you can reach the station free of charge.
